Two luxury car brands—two German-engineered luxury car brands, no less: BMW and Audi are a world apart in many respects, but they share a commitment to performance and forward-thinking design. These two brands are leading lights that know how to set the stage for excitement on the streets.
Here, Pensacola, Myrtle Grove, and Cantonment, Florida, shoppers can see how these brands compare. Just click the links on this page to learn more about individual BMW models and how they measure up to their Audi competitors. Reach out to us at Sandy Sansing BMW for more information!
In many respects, Audi and BMW have similar lineups. No matter what you need in a luxury car, you’re likely to find it somewhere in these brands’ inventories. With healthy selections of sedans, coupes, SUVs, convertibles, performance models, and electrified models, you’ll have nearly endless options.
BMW cars have a unique take on style, however, and for some drivers, their sportiness makes them a premium option. The iconic kidney grille and Hofmeister kink are staples of many of their models. LED headlamps with striking blue design elements and “BMW Laser” emblems add to their sense of flair.
You can search for such features in some of the more popular BMW models. Their Audi counterparts will not offer similar style cues.
BMW and Audi are both perhaps best known for performance. Power and prestige can be found in the BMW M performance cars, and the same can be said about the Audi Sport lineup.
Less is said about these brands’ attention to interior aesthetics. Slide inside a BMW or an Audi, and you’re sure to find yourself surrounded by premium materials. From available leather-trimmed seats to wood accents and finishes—not to mention attractive headliners—these brands’ car models leave an impression.
Some style cues are exclusive to BMW cars, and we want to delve into them here. Some models in the lineup may feature:
To answer the above question, we can look to the J.D. Power 2020 U.S. Vehicle Dependability StudySM. The study has been around for more than three decades and measures the number of problems per 100 vehicles (PP100) experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of 3-year-old vehicles.
What the study found is astounding: BMW is the eighth most dependable brand with just 123 PP100, far better than the industry average of 134 PP100. Audi, meanwhile, scored just a little worse than the industry average with 136 PP100.
A welcome surprise: The BMW 2 Series was the highest ranked Small Premium Car in the study! Audi did not earn the highest rank in any category, unfortunately.
The BMW and Audi brands are known the world over. From performance to design, they’ve made their marks in many ways. Pensacola, Myrtle Grove, and Cantonment, FL, drivers can appreciate each brand’s unique sense of style.
